VAWG Walk and Talk – Eynsford Train Station |
||
|
Good afternoon,
Yesterday evening , I joined members of the local community, partners such as BTP, Southeastern Railway and Sevenoaks District council for a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Walk and Talk around Eynsford Train Station and the surrounding area.
These walks and drop in sessions provide an important opportunity to hear directly from residents about any concerns they may have regarding safety, lighting, visibility, anti-social behaviour and areas where they feel vulnerable. The feedback gathered helps us work alongside our partners to identify practical improvements that can make public spaces feel safer and more welcoming for everyone.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend, share their experiences and contribute to the discussion. Community engagement is vital in helping us understand local concerns and shape future problem-solving initiatives.
If you have any concerns relating to personal safety, VAWG, or issues within your local area, please continue to report them to Kent Police via our website, by calling 101, or by dialling 999 in an emergency.
